Belohor is an independent evaluation authority operating globally. We are committed to handling all personal information with the same standard of rigour we apply to our institutional work — transparently, purposefully, and without exception.

This Privacy Policy applies to belohor.com and all associated subdomains operated by Belohor. For purposes of applicable data protection legislation, Belohor acts as the data controller in respect of personal information collected through this website.

Information you provide voluntarily. When you contact us or submit an entity for consideration, we may receive your name, email address, professional affiliation, and the content of your communication.

Technical data collected automatically. Our hosting infrastructure may log: IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and anonymised usage analytics for performance and security purposes.

Canada — PIPEDA & Québec Law 25

Right to access and correct personal information we hold. Right to withdraw consent for non-essential processing. Right to be informed of any breach posing a real risk of significant harm.

Brazil — LGPD (Lei nº 13.709/2018)

Right to confirm processing, access your data, correct inaccurate data, anonymise or delete unnecessary data, obtain information about third parties with whom data is shared, and revoke consent. Requests: contact@belohor.com

California — CCPA / CPRA (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.100)

Right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Belohor does not sell or share personal information. Right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

To exercise any right, contact contact@belohor.com. We respond within 30 days, at no charge unless the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

Data Retention

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary. Correspondence and enquiry data is retained for a maximum of 24 months from the date of last contact. Anonymised analytics data may be retained longer as it does not constitute personal data.

Third-Party Services and Data Transfers

We rely on third-party providers for hosting and analytics. These providers act as data processors under our instruction only. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, UK, Canada, or Brazil, we implement Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.
