Terms of Use
By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. These terms govern your use of the Belohor website and all content published within it. If you do not accept these terms, you should not use this site.
Nature of the Website
Belohor operates as an independent evaluation authority. This website serves as the institution's public-facing presence — providing information about its mandate, evaluation criteria, the Belohor Seal, and the Registry of recognised works.
The content published here is institutional in nature. It is not a marketplace, a social platform, or a transactional service. Access is provided for informational purposes only.
Permitted Use
You may access and read the content on this website for personal, non-commercial, and informational purposes. The following are expressly prohibited without prior written authorisation from Belohor:
- Reproducing, copying, or distributing any content from this website
- Using content for commercial purposes of any kind
- Modifying, adapting, or creating derivative works
- Scraping or automated extraction of content
- Framing or mirroring this website on another domain
- Using the Belohor name, seal, or visual identity without authorisation
Any authorised use must include clear attribution to Belohor and must not misrepresent the institution's positions or evaluations.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including but not limited to text, evaluation criteria, structural frameworks, the Belohor Seal, visual design, and institutional identity — is the exclusive intellectual property of Belohor, protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and unfair competition laws in all relevant jurisdictions.
Recognition awarded by Belohor does not transfer intellectual property rights over the evaluated work, nor does it grant the evaluated party any rights over Belohor's name, seal, or institutional materials beyond what is explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.
The Belohor Seal is a certification mark. Its use is governed exclusively by Belohor. Unauthorised display or imitation of the Seal constitutes trademark infringement and may result in legal action in any jurisdiction where Belohor holds or asserts rights.
Evaluation and Registry
Belohor's evaluations are conducted independently. Submission of an entity for consideration does not guarantee evaluation, and evaluation does not guarantee recognition. All determinations are final and are not subject to appeal, revision, or external influence.
Entries in the Registry reflect Belohor's determinations at the time of evaluation. They are not updated in response to subsequent changes in the evaluated work, its reception, or its creator's public standing.
Belohor does not accept payment in exchange for evaluation, recognition, or placement in the Registry. Any entity claiming otherwise is not affiliated with Belohor.
No Professional Advice
Nothing on this website constitutes legal, financial, editorial, creative, or strategic advice of any kind. Belohor's evaluations reflect institutional assessments against internal criteria — they are not endorsements, recommendations, or professional opinions applicable to any third party's specific circumstances.
Users are solely responsible for any decisions made in reliance on content published here.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
This website and its contents are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Belohor makes reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but does not guarantee the completeness, timeliness, or fitness for purpose of any information published here.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law — including consumer protection legislation in the EU, Canada, and Brazil — Belohor shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Use of, or inability to use, this website
- Reliance on any content published here
- Interruptions, errors, or security breaches affecting the site
- Third-party content linked from this site
Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
External Links
This website may contain links to third-party websites. Such links are provided for reference only. Belohor does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any external site. Visiting linked sites is at your own risk.
User Submissions
Any material submitted to Belohor — including entity submissions, correspondence, and any attached content — may be used by Belohor for evaluation purposes. Submission does not create a contractual relationship, does not obligate Belohor to respond, and does not confer any right to recognition or inclusion in the Registry.
You represent that any material you submit does not infringe third-party rights and is submitted in good faith.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable international frameworks for digital services and intellectual property. Where mandatory local law applies — including the laws of EU member states, Canada, Brazil, and the United States — those provisions take precedence over any conflicting term herein.
Belohor does not waive any rights under applicable law by the operation of these Terms.
Modifications
Belohor reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The version date at the top of this page indicates the date of the most recent substantive revision. Continued use of this website following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
